A registry is a study designed to collect information on individuals' medical conditions, symptoms, treatments, and demographics, in order to gain a better understanding of how a disease and its treatment may impact people in their everyday lives.
The goal of the Amryt MACRO Registry is to gain a better understanding, from personal experience, of the significant impact acromegaly has on the lives of patients like you and your loved ones, including:
You will be asked to self-report on your acromegaly disease and treatment related symptoms and their impact on your everyday life, through the completion of confidential and secure online questionnaires. You will be asked to complete these questionnaires when you enroll, and then every 3 months for up to 3 years.
Participants in the Amryt MACRO Registry will play an important role in research by providing real-life information on the effects of acromegaly and its treatment on their day-to-day lives. Your participation may also be of value to the doctors who care for people with acromegaly and to researchers looking to design studies to improve acromegaly treatment and the quality of life / treatment choices for patients with this disease.

There is no financial cost or fee for participating in the Amryt MACRO Registry.
We will pay you for your time for the completion of the questionnaires. You will receive $25 per set of questionnaires and will receive a set of questionnaires every 3 months for up to 3 years (a total of up to 13 sets of questionnaires).
